Seahawks defensive tackle Jarran Reed will start the 2019 season away from Century Field.

On Monday the NFL announced that Reed's appeal of his six-game suspension had been denied. The 26-year-old took to his Twitter shortly after the announcement to express his remorse:
Reed was suspended for violation of the league's personal conduct policy for an incident that occurred in early 2017. The 6'3/306 pound lineman will be able to practice and play through training camp and preseason but won't be able to hit the field in the regular season until Week 7 against the Ravens.
