49ers sign defensive end Damontre Moore to one-year deal

Defensive end Damontre Moore is back in the NFL.

On Wednesday Moore signed a one-year, $805,000 contract with the San Francisco 49ers. The veteran defensive lineman last played for the San Diego Fleet of the Alliance of American Football until its collapse in April of this year.

Moore was drafted in the third round by the Giants in 2013. After two years in New York the journeyman bounced around the league spending time with the Dolphins, Seahawks, Cowboys and Raiders.

In his six year NFL career the 26-year old has amassed 82 tackles, 10 sacks, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and four pass deflections.
