Defensive end Allen Bailey has a new home for the 2019 season.

On Tuesday ESPN reported that the 30-year-old signed a two-year, $10.5 million contract with the Atlanta Falcons, including $3.5 million guaranteed, and an average annual salary of $5.25 million.

The signing comes one day after safety J.J. Wilcox and defensive end Michael Bennett were lost to injury. Wilcox is out for the season with a torn ACL while Bennett is out indefinitely with a broken foot.

Bailey was drafted by the Chiefs in 2011 and spent the last eight seasons with the team. During that time he has amassed 207 tackles, 19.5 sacks, four forced fumbles and seven fumble recoveries.
