On Wednesday New England signed 31-year-old tight end Lance Kendricks.
Kendricks spent the last two seasons with the Packers after spending the previous six seasons with the Rams.
The 6'3/250 pound pass catcher was drafted in the second round by the Rams in 2011. In his eight year NFL career Kendricks has amassed 241 receptions for 2,505 yards and 19 touchdowns.
Kendricks is replacing the spot left vacant after the retirement of Rob Gronkowski this offseason.
