Defensive end Dean Lowry signs three-year contract extension with Packers

Dean Lowry is staying put in Green Bay for several more years.

On Tuesday the Packers announced  the 25-year-old defensive end had signed a three-year $20.325 million contract extension with the team with an average annual salary of $6.775 million.

Lowry was drafted by the Packers in the fourth round in 2016. Since that time he has played in 47 games, starting 19 and amassed 85 tackles, seven sacks, six pass deflections, one forced fumble, two fumble recoveries and one defensive touchdown.

The new deal locks the veteran defensive lineman in with the team through the 2022 season.
