Police are investigating a shooting that left nine people injured including Minnesota Vikings defensive tackle Linval Joseph.
Joseph was struck in the calf by a stray bullet fired inside a nightclub in downtown Minneapolis early Saturday morning just before closing time of the 400 Soundbar. Joseph was treated at the hospital and released. The team expects him to return to practice sometime this week.
Police are still searching for a gunman in the incident. Vikings released a statement saying they were thankful Linval wasn't seriously hurt and that their thoughts and prayers were with all the victims.
Linval signed a five-year, $31.25 million deal with the team in March.
