The Chiefs were dealt another harsh blow as another member of their offense faces suspension.
Right tackle Donald Stephenson has been suspended the first four games of the regular season for violating the league's policy on performance enhancing drugs. The team is already without wide receiver Dwayne Bowe for a violation of the NFL's drug policy for the first game of the season.
Stephenson will be eligible to practice and play in the final two preseason games before his suspension begins. He won't be eligible to return to the active roster until Sept. 30, a day after the Chiefs play the Patriots at Arrowhead.
He will miss a key divisional game against the Broncos as well as games against the Titans, Dolphins and Patriots. He will make his season debut against the 49ers in San Francisco on Oct. 5.
