The Bengals and Andy Dalton have agreed to a long term deal to keep the young quarterback in Cincinnati for the next several years.
According to ESPN, Dalton and the Bengals agreed to a six year $115 million contract extension on Monday.
Dalton will sign the new contract extension today. He has one year left on his rookie deal and was scheduled to make just under $1.7 million this season.
In his three year NFL regular season career Dalton has thrown for 11,360 yards 80 touchdowns, 49 interceptions and also rushed for an additional 7 touchdowns. However, Dalton is 0-3 in the playoffs where he has thrown just 1 touchdown and 6 interceptions.
Bengals start their preseason this Thursday against the Chiefs in Kansas City.
