Miami has been dealt another tough blow as their season is just starting to begin.
Dolphins safety Reshad Jones has been suspended by the league for violating the NFL's performance-enhancing drug policy.
Jones will not be eligible to play in a regular-season game until Oct. 12 against the Green Bay Packers.
This is the second player on the Dolphins defense lost to a suspension. Dion Jordan was suspended in July for the same violation.
Jones released a statement via the Dolphins and the NFLPA stating a supplement he took caused the positive test and he regretted not investigating the supplement before he took it. He apologized to all his teammates, coaches and fans for the mistake.
