Arizona lost another key member to their defense for the season.
Defensive end Darnell Dockett went down with a knee injury during a pass play and had to be carted off the field during Monday's practice. Cardinals later tweeted that Dockett suffered a torn right ACL and will have season ending knee surgery.
Dockett is a 10 year veteran with the Cardinals who has only missed two games in his entire career. He is a three time Pro Bowler had his best season last year and is a durable reliable leader for the team.
Cardinals are already without linebacker Daryl Washington who is suspended for the season. The loss of Dockett adds another tremendous blow to a team who missed the playoffs by one game last season.
