Quarterback Derek Anderson retires from the NFL

Derek Anderson is walking away from the NFL.

On Friday the Buffalo Bills announced that the 35-year-old quarterback informed the team that he was retiring from the league.

The journeyman passer spent 14 years in the league playing for the Browns, Cardinals, Panthers and Bills.

The Pro Bowler amassed 909 passes for 10,878 passing yards, 60 passing touchdowns along with 226 rushing yards and five rushing touchdowns.
