Benjamin Watson has decided to come out of retirement and return to the NFL.

On Thursday Ian Rapoport reported that the 38-year-old was signing a one-year deal with New England Patriots.

Watson was drafted by the Patriots in 2004 and played six seasons in New England before signing with the Browns. He played three seasons in Cleveland before leaving for the Saints and playing three seasons. He then spent two seasons in Baltimore before returning to New Orleans last season.
