Cardinals cornerback Patrick Peterson suspended six games for PED use

Arizona Cardinals cornerback Patrick Peterson will not play see the field for the first six games of the 2019 season.

On Thursday ESPN announced that the NFL had suspended the 28-year-old for violating the league's' performance enhancing drug policy.

Peterson dropped the appeal of his suspension and released a statement apologizing for his actions and wishing to put the incident behind him.

The veteran defensive back will be able to participate in all offseason activities but won't be available to hit the field until October 20th against the New York Giants
