Quarterback Tom Brady signs two year contract extension with New England Patriots

Quarterback Tom Brady has added a couple more years to his time in New England.

On Sunday ESPN reported that the 42 year old signed a two year, $70 million contract extension with the Patriots. Brady will get $23 million in 2019, $30 million in 2020 and $32 million in 2021.

The 6x Super Bowl Champion and 4x Super Bowl MVP is also a 3x NFL MVP, 14x Pro Bowler, 3x First Team All Pro, 2x Offensive Player of the Year, 3x NFL passing yards leader, 4x NFL passing touchdowns leader and a 2x passer rating leader.

In his 19 year NFL career the future Hall of Famer has amassed 6,004 pass completions for 70,514 passing yards and 517 passing touchdowns along with 1,003 rushing yards and 19 rushing touchdowns.

The new deal locks Brady in with the Patriots through the 2021 season.
