Carolina Panthers sign safety Tre Boston

Safety Tre Boston is back on the east coast.

On Thursday the 27 year old  signed a one year, $3 million contract with the Carolina Panthers.

Boston was originally drafted in the 4th round by the Panthers in 2014. He spent three years in Carolina before being released in 2017 and being signed by the Chargers. He spent one season in Los Angeles before signing with the Cardinals in 2018.

In his five year NFL career the 6’1/205 pound defensive back has amassed 266 tackles, 2 sacks, 1 forced fumble, 27 pass deflections, 10 interceptions and 1 defensive touchdown.
