Linebacker Paul Worrilow retires from the NFL

Linebacker Paul Worrilow has decided to leave the football field behind.

On Saturday the 29-year-old announced his retirement from the NFL. The stunning announcement came just one day after he signed with the Baltimore Ravens.

Worrilow was signed by the Falcons as an undrafted rookie out of Delaware in 2013. He spent four years in Atlanta before signing with the Lions in 2017. He spent one year in Detroit before signing with the Eagles in 2018. He would spend one year in Philadelpia before his release this offseason.

In his six year NFL career the 6'/230 pound veteran has amassed 415 tackles, four sacks, 11 pass deflections, three forced fumbles and two interceptions.
