Dolphins have continued to make big moves in the early part of the season.

On Friday, Jesse Davis signed a three year, $15 million contract with the Miami Dolphins, including $8.5 million guaranteed, and an average annual salary of $5 million.

Davis was signed by the Seahawks as an undrafted rookie out of Idaho in 2015 but would be cut before the start of the season. He would sign with Jets in January 2016 but be cut in August. He signed with the practice squad in November of that year but would be cut two weeks later. He would sign with the Dolphins practice squad shortly after his departure from the Jets.

Davis made the Dolphins 53-man roster in 2017 and was named the starting right guard. He became the starting left guard in 2017. In his four year NFL career Davis has played in 32 games, starting 26.

The new deal locks the 27-year-old in Miami through the 2022 season.
