The Chiefs made a huge move to improve their defense just ahead of the draft on Thursday.

On Tuesday Adam Schefter reported that the Seattle Seahawks traded defensive end Frank Clark to the Kansas City Chiefs in exchange for 2019 29th pick, exchange third round picks and the lower of their 2020 second round pick.

The Chiefs then agreed to terms with the star pass-rusher on a five-year deal worth $105.5 million with $63.5 million in guaranteed money. Clark will fly to Kansas City to take a physical and finalize the trade.

In his four year NFL career the 25-year-old has amassed 137 tackles, 35 sacks, nine forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and one interception.

Chiefs finished the 2018 season ranked 31st in defense.
