Colts LB Robert Mathis Out For the Season

Colts were already without linebacker Robert Mathis due to a four game suspension, now it appears he has been lost for the season.

Mathis suffered a torn Achilles tendon and will be out for the season. He suffered the injury last week while working out away from the Colts facility.

Colts however said they were awaiting word from doctors before they announce the severity of the injury or the length of his recovery time.

The Colts will turn to second-year player Bjoern Werner to fill the void left by Mathis' loss.
