On Monday the Jets announced the re-signing of running back Bilal Powell.
The 30-year-old worked out with the team on Friday and impressed the team enough to bring him back.
Powell started the first seven games of last season rushing for 343 yards on 80 carries along with 11 receptions for 110 yards and one touchdown.
In his eight year NFL career the 5'10/204 pound rusher amassed 791 rushes for 3,446 rushing yards and 75 rushing touchdowns along with 204 receptions for 1,567 receiving yards and five receiving touchdowns.
