On Monday Ian Rapoport reported that the NFL had suspended the veteran offensive tackle for the first four games of the 2019 season for violation of the policy on performance enhancing drugs.
Garcia was drafted by the Patriots in the third round in 2017 but never played a down of football for the team. He was later diagnosed with blood clots in his lungs which led to a 40 pound weight loss. Patriots released Garcia in May 2018. He was later claimed by the Jets who released him before the start of the 2018 season.
With the four game suspension, Garcia's chances of making the Colts roster has become very limited.
