On Monday Ian Rapoport reported that the Indianapolis Colts were signing the 25-year-old quarterback to a one-year deal to backup Andrew Luck.
Kelly was released by the Broncos midseason in 2018 for an off field trespassing incident. The young passer later plead guilty to the charge and still faces potential discipline from the NFL.
Kelly was the Mr. Irrelevant pick by the Broncos in 2017. He is the nephew of Hall of Famer Jim Kelly.
