Patriots are off to a great 8-2 start. Even faced with injuries and the trading of WR Randy Moss, QB Tom Brady has been able to throw the long ball do in part to the play of rookie TE Rob Gronkowski.
Gronkowski was a standout TE at the University of Arizona where he set the school tight end records for single game, single season and career receptions, yards and touchdowns. He was named AP Third Team All American and All Pac-10 first team tight end. For his exceptional college career he was drafted in the second round of the 2010 NFL draft.
So far this season Gronkowski has 20 receptions 245 yds and 6 TDs in just 11 games. He is an outstanding tight end playing for a great QB in one of the best system's in the league. If he continues to be a great blocking and catching tight end expect him to become a consistent target in the future for Brady.
