Carolina Panthers arent a very good team this year. They have been plagued with injuries at receiver and poor performance at quarterback. So far they have managed just 1 win this season. Despite this fact they have 1 emerging bright spot on their offense..the rookie wide receiver David Gettis.
David Gettis is 6'4/220 lb & becoming the Panthers most reliable threat. He was a 6th round pick out of Baylor where he finished his college career with 116 receptions for 1555 yds and 4 TDs. He runs a 4.47 40 which makes him the perfect combo of size and speed. His biggest game came against the 49ers in week 7 where he caught 8 passes for 125 yds and 2 TDs. If the Panthers can resolve their QB problem Gettis has the potential of becoming a very good receiver in the league.
