Eagles meanwhile lead the NFC East division and come in off a convincing win over the Giants last week. They have a superb offense behind the arm of QB Michael Vick. This will not be a great game. Week 14 Predictions

Ok so your girl finished a very respectable 12-4 last week. Let's go:

Indianapolis Colts (6-6) vs Tennessee Titans (5-7)

An AFC South battle of 2 teams trying to make the post-season. Colts come in off a loss last week to the Cowboys at home. They have dropped 3 in a row recently. QB Peyton Manning has thrown 11 INTs over those last 3 games. His team is desperately decimated by injuries on both sides of the ball. They are struggling to stay 1 game back of the division leading Jags. Titans come in off a loss last week against the Jags at home. QB Kerry Collins had a terrible throwing 0 TDs and 2 INTs and RB Chris Johnson was held under 55 yds rushing. They are playing poorly on both sides of the ball. Colts can at least score with its passing game. The same cannot be said of the Titans. Prediction: Colts

QB Josh Freeman had 1 of his poorer performances of the season completing just 19 of 38 for 181 yds 1 TD and 1 INT with WR Mike Williams catching the lone TD pass. Browns come in off a win last week against the Dolphins in Miami. QB Jake Delhomme completed 24 of 34 for 217 yds and 1 TD with WR Benjamin Watson making 10 catches for 100 yds and the lone TD pass. Their running game has been superb behind RB Peyton Hillis but was shut down last week against the Dolphins. Browns defense is often a letdown at the end of many games but blame this on an offense that can't score consistently. Bills come in off a blowout loss to the Vikings in Minnesota. They are a team with a pretty good offense but a horrible defense. Bills will have to address the numerous issues on defense especially on their line during the off-season. Browns lead the match-up history 10-5..enough said. Prediction: Browns

Green Bay Packers (8-4) vs Detroit Lions (2-10)

Packers are in playoff contention while the Lions are on their way to another sub .500 season. The Lions are down to their 3rd string QB Drew Stanton with both Matt Stafford and Shaun Hill out. Packers lead the match-up and Lions have dropped the last 10 match-ups in a row. Prediction: Packers

Raiders come in off a surprising win over the Chargers in San Diego last week. QB Jason Campbell completed 10 of 16 for 117 yds and 1 TD. RB Darren McFadden had 19 rushes for 97 yds and 1 TD. Raiders have the 23rd ranked run defense which has been their achilles heel this season. Jaguars come in off a win against the Titans in Tennessee. This was powered by their ground game with both QB David Garrard and RB Rashad Jennings rushing for a TD. Jags defense is 17th against the run. This game should feature alot of ground attack by both teams. Prediction: Jags

Atlanta Falcons (10-2) vs Carolina Panthers (1-11)

In years past this would've been a great match-up against 2 tough NFC South rivals. But the Panthers are a horrendous team who have been decimated by injuries all season long. They have yet to find a reliable QB from week to week which has cost them dearly in games. Falcons meanwhile have been on a roll and lead the NFC in wins. They are playoff bound and hope to lock up homefield advantage soon. This will not be a great game. Prediction: Falcons

Seattle Seahawks (6-6) vs San Francisco 49ers (4-8)

Seahawks come in off a win against the lowly Panthers last week at home in which QB Matt Hasselback threw 0 TDs and 2 INTs & RB Marshawn Lynch rushed for 3 TDs. TE Vernon Davis made 4 receptions for 126 yds and 1 TD. This week the Niners are starting QB Alex Smith who has been atrocious this season. Rams come in off a win last week against the Cardinals in Arizona. QB Sam Bradford threw 0 TDs and 1 INT. RB Steven Jackson had 28 rushes for 102 yds and 1 TD. New England Patriots (10-2) vs Chicago Bears (9-3)

Patriots come in off a blowout win over the division rival Jets last week at home. QB Tom Brady had a fantastic game completing 21 of 29 for 326 yds and 4 TDs with WR Wes Welker making 7 receptions for 80 yds and 1 of the TD passes. Bears come in off a win over division rival Lions last week. QB Jay Cutler completed 21 of 26 for 234 yds and 1 TD. RB Matt Forte rushed for an additional TD. Bears secondary will be tested to their limit today to keep Brady contained. Patriots lead the series match-up 7-3. Prediction: Patriots

Denver Broncos (3-9) vs Arizona Cardinals (3-9)

A match up of 2 last place teams with no hopes of post-season play. Broncos have a pathetic defense and Cardinals have no consistency at the QB position. They will be starting their 4th different QB this season with rookie QB John Skelton. Don't expect a good game. Prediction: Broncos

Miami Dolphins (6-6) vs New York Jets (9-3)

Dolphins come in off a loss last week to the Browns in Cleveland. QB Chad Henne had his worst game of the season throwing just 1 TD and 3 INTs with TE Anthony Fasano catching the lone TD pass. Dolphins defense has been a major letdown. Jets come in off an embarassing beatdown loss to the Patriots last week in New England. QB Mark Sanchez had his worst game this season throwing 0 TDs and 3 INTs. Jets didnt get their offense going last week and were completely embarassed on defense. They will need their defense to get back on track this week if they hope to stay in the playoff hunt and 1 game back of the Patriots. Prediction: Jets

Kansas City Chiefs (8-4) vs San Diego Chargers (6-6)

Chiefs come in off a win last week against the Broncos at home. However, Chiefs are without their starting QB Matt Cassel who had an appendectomy just 5 days ago. They will be starting QB Brodie Croyle who hasn't started a game this season. They will have to rely on their running game behind RB Jamaal Charles. Chiefs defense is shaky this season especially on passing downs. Chargers come in off a surprising loss to the Raiders at home. QB Philip Rivers completed just 23 of 39 for 280 yds 1 TD and 1 INT with TE Antonio Gates catching the lone TD pass. Chargers defense will need to step up if they have any hope of a wildcard birth. Prediction: Chiefs

Philadelphia Eagles (8-4) vs Dallas Cowboys (4-8)

Eagles come in off a win last week against the Texans at home. QB Michael Vick completed 22 of 33 for 302 yds for 2 TDs and 1 INT. RB LeSean McCoy had 1 TD receiving and 1 TD rushing. Eagles redzone defense has been their undoing this season and need to improve quickly for a post-season push. Cowboys come in off win against the Colts in Indianapolis last week. QB Jon Kitna completed 18 of 26 for 167 yds and 1 TD with TE Jason Witten catching the lone TD pass. RB Tashard Choice had 19 carries for 100 yds and 1 TD. Cowboys defense needs to be more consistent on passing downs. Prediction: Eagles

New York Giants (8-4) vs Minnesota Vikings (5-7)

Giants come in off an impressive win over the Redskins at home last week. QB Eli Manning threw 0 TDs and 1 INT. RB Ahmad Bradshaw rushed for 97 yds on 25 carries and 2 TDs. Giants defense have been solid in their wins but their line has been inconsistent in their losses. Vikings come in off a win over the Bills in Minnesota last week. QB Brett Favre injured his shoulder early in the game and may potentially not start this week. QB Tavaris Jackson came into the game and completed 15 of 22 for for 187 yds 2 TDs and 3 INTs with WR Sidney Rice receiving 5 catches for 105 yds and both TD passes. RB Adrian Peterson had a breakout game rushing for 107 yds on 16 carries and 3 TDs. Vikings have a decent defense but with the inconsistency on the offense they havent been able to carry them to enough wins to make the post-season. Prediction: Giants

Baltimore Ravens (8-4) vs Houston Texans (5-7)

Ravens come in off a loss last week to the Steelers at home. QB Joe Flacco completed 17 of 33 for 266 yds and 1 TD with WR Anquan Boldin receiving 5 catches for 118 yds and 1 TD. Ravens running game was shut down last week. Ravens still have 1 of the top defenses in the league. Texans come in off loss last week against the Eagles in Philadelphia. QB Matt Schaub completed 22 of 36 for 337 yds 2 TDs and 1 INT. RB Arian Foster had 22 rushes for 83 yds, 1 rushing TD and 1 receiving TD. Texans defense has been poor but this is partially due to key injuries. They need their line to give them more effort. Prediction: Ravens

College Watch- Cam Newton

The Auburn Tigers finished with a perfect 13-0 record (8-0 in the SEC) and won the SEC championship game on their way to a BCS national championship game on Jan. 10th. They are ranked #1 in the AP Poll and the BCS Standings and will face #2 Oregon. Auburn's coach Gene Chizik was named the SEC Coach of the Year by the Associated Press and DT Nick Fairley was named the SEC Defensive Player of the Year and 2010 Rotary Lombardi Award. Auburn has had an incredible season playing fantastic on both sides of the ball. The biggest contributor to their success has been the unbelievable play of QB Cam Newton.

Cam Newton is a 6'6/250 lb touchdown monster. He is big, strong, fast and has a gun for an arm. His overall passer rating for the season is an impressive 129.6% having thrown for 2589 yds, 28 TDs and only 6 INTs. Newton was named the 2010 SEC Offensive Player of the Year. He is also one of four finalists for the 2010 Heisman Trophy which will be announced Dec. 11th.

Cam has been mired in controversy since his days at Florida and have continued this year with a new pay-for-play scandal. Despite this fact, he will still be a heavily sought after player and is predicted to be drafted somewhere in the mid 1st round in the 2011 NFL Draft.

Week 13 Predictions

Ok so your girl finished 11-5 which is pretty good. Let's try to see if we can top that this week. Let's go:

Houston Texans (5-6) vs Philadelphia Eagles (7-4)

Texans come in off a shut out win over the Titans at home last week. QB Matt Schaub had a good game completing 25 of 35 for 178 yds and 2 TDs with WR Andre Johnson catching 1 of them. RB Arian Foster rushed for 143 yds on 30 carries. Texans defense played well last week but are still ranked 28th overall which is keeping them from winning consistently. Eagles come in off a loss last week to the Bears in Chicago. QB Michael Vick threw his 1st INT of the season but still managed to complete 29 of 44 for 333 yds and 2 TDs with WR Jeremy Maclin catching 1 of them. Eagles are ranked last in red zone defense and need to keep their opponents out the endzone if they hope to make and do well in the post season. This should be a good match up. Prediction: Eagles

Cleveland Browns (4-7) vs Miami Dolphins (6-5)

Browns come in off a win against the Panthers at home last week. QB Jake Delhomme had a terrible game throwing 0 TDs and 2 INTs. RB Peyton Hillis received 6 catches for 63 yards and rushed for 131 yds on 26 carries for 3 TDs. WR Josh Cribbs is questionable for this game with an injured right foot. Browns defense is ranked #21 which is why they are below .500. Dolphins come in off a win last week against the Raiders in Oakland. QB Chad Henne completed 17 of 30 for 307 yds, 2 TDs and 1 INT. RB Ricky Williams rushed for 95 yds on 20 carries and 1 TD. Dolphins have a tough run defense and with Delhomme starting expect the Browns to put the ball in the hands of Hillis. He will not find much success against this defense. Prediction: Dolphins

San Francisco 49ers (4-7) vs Green Bay Packers (7-4)

49ers are in the terrible NFC West division and despite their poor record are only 1 game out of 1st place. This only speaks to how bad the division is. Packers meanwhile are fighting for a playoff birth in the tough NFC North division. They need to win out to have a potential for the postseason. Prediction: Packers

Denver Broncos (3-8) vs Kansas City Chiefs (7-4)

Broncos are a terrible team with one of the worst rated defenses in the entire NFL. They cannot keep a healthy running game going since week to week one or more of their RBs are injured. Having to rely on the air attack gives teams easy coverage options. Chiefs are leading their division and are trying to make the playoffs after years of poor records. They are a good team and a fired up for a win at home where they lead the match-up series 4-1. Prediction: Chiefs

Buffalo Bills (2-9) vs Minnesota Vikings (4-7)

Bills have an atrocious defense that has been killing them this season. Vikings offense has been awful and very inconsistent. This will not be a good game but give it to the home team. Prediction: Vikings

Chicago Bears (8-3) vs Detroit Lions (2-9)

As much as I would like to hope for a good game the Bears defense will be too much for the Lions. Prediction: Bears

Jacksonville Jaguars (6-5) vs Tennessee Titans (5-6)

An AFC South division match-up. Titans are 1 game out of the lead while the Jags sit atop with the Colts. Titans are on a skid right now and need a win. They will have QB Kerry Collins back this week who with WR Randy Moss hope to turn things around for them. Jags are inconsistent but have done enough to keep them within playoff contention. Prediction: Jaguars

Washington Redskins (5-6) vs New York Giants (7-4)

Redskins are too inconsistent and unreliable and Giants are hungry to make the postseason. They will win at home. Prediction: Giants

New Orleans Saints (8-3) vs Cincinnati Bengals (2-9)

Bengals have all the parts to be a good team they just arent. Saints are 1 game out of the divison lead and need to keep winning to stay within contention. Prediction: Saints

Atlanta Falcons (9-2) vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers (7-4)

Bucs are a surprisingly good team but the Falcons are playing superb on both sides of the ball. Prediction: Falcons

Carolina Panthers (1-10) vs Seattle Seahawks (5-6)

Panthers stink. Seahawks are inconsistent but dont need to do much to beat the Panthers. Prediction: Seahawks

St. Louis Rams (5-6) vs Arizona Cardinals (3-8)

Cardinals need to get a better starting QB before they will ever return to playoff contention. Prediction: Rams

Dallas Cowboys (3-8) vs Indianapolis Colts (6-5)

Cowboys are not a good team this year and Colts need the win to keep atop of the AFC South division. Prediction: Colts

Pittsburgh Steelers (8-3) vs Baltimore Ravens (8-3)

This going to be a super defensive battle against the AFC North rivals. Give this one to the home team. Prediction: Ravens

New York Jets (9-2) vs New England Patriots (9-2)

A hard nose tough battle against these AFC East rivals. Both are trying to stay atop the divison and both are playing superb ball. Pats play tough at Gillette Stadium so I give this to the home team. Prediction: Patriots
